*****VERSATILITY RANCH HORSE CHAMPION!*****

Ziggy competed in his first Versatility Ranch Horse show April 5, 2008 and he did quite well. It was only his second time on cows, and I am very impressed with how he is doing! For pictures from this event, click the link below. For videos, visit Ziggy's page.

*****WELCOME HOME GANDALF!*****

That's right, our lovely colt that we sold in 2006 has come back to Edoras Stables. After seeing how he has matured, and having the option to buy him back, we just couldn't say no. He will be joining our stallion line up in 2008, so if you would your mare considered for this up and coming stallion, please get in touch with us. He will stand to a very limited book this year.

In August 2007, Edoras Started a new training program aimed at training Gypsy Horses for show and pleasure riding. We began working with and training horses for Desert Jewel Gypsy Horses, one of the nations largest breeders and importers of Gypsy Horses. We usually have about 4-6 Gypsies in training at our farm, and most of them are for sale.

The 2007 show season, although short, was a huge success. We took the Gypsies to the Parker Draft, Gypsy, and Haflinger show again this year, and Ziggy did well in the under saddle classes. He even won first place in Draft horse barrel racing! It was his (and his riders) first time doing barrels, so imagine what he can do with a little practice!

Our mare Blue won first place in the Mares 5 and over class (out of six entries I believe) and even beat out the amazing Babydoll, owned by Black Forest Shires and Gypsy Horses. She then went on to win "Best of Show Gypsy" and I couldn't be prouder of my girl!!!

New Horses Listed For Sale!!

Edoras Stables has two awesome trail geldings currently for sale, one half-arabian, and one blue roan paint. Both have been professionally trained. We also have two coming two year old half-arabian fillies for sale. Our Gypsy mares Blue and Kizzie are both in foal for June 2008 babies and both foals are offered for sale in utero!

Ziggy and I in the Cherry Days Parade (July 4th) 2006. Blue and Gandalf were there too, and the crowd just loved the Gypsies! Watch for us again in 2008!

In 2007, we attended the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo - June 1-3 - Vail Valley, CO, with Ziggy and Blue. Like always, the people loved the Gypsies! It was a great expo, and we will for sure be back next year. See you all there!
